The Langtang trekking route is relatively short in duration and low in difficulty but offers a rich experience, suitable for all hiking enthusiasts. It combines the beauty of the Annapurna Base Camp trek and the vastness of the Tibetan plateau, along with the pastoral charm of Nepal, captivating the hearts of every traveler who embarks on this journey.
Langtang National Park is located just 15 kilometers from the Chinese border at the Kyirong border crossing. As one of Nepal’s famous trekking routes, it offers an opportunity to experience the pristine local religious culture and enjoy panoramic views of the snow-capped mountains. Along the way, you’ll encounter charming scenery and interesting villages, with a chance to traverse remote and rarely visited areas. Following the narrow Langtang River valley, you’ll pass through Tibetan and Tamang villages, with views of Ganesh Himal and Langtang Lirung, and even glimpses of peaks in China.
